« Gaps in the Explanations of Aging: An Evolutionary Perspective«
Abstract: The causes of aging are numerous and not yet fully understood. Theories intended to explain the evolution of aging also contain certain gray areas. In particular, the eco-evolutionary and evo-systemic causes of aging could be further explored with benefit. To illustrate this, I will present some of our research on potential age-distorters of human aging and on the evolution of the networks of interactions associated with aging, and I will explain how this type of perspective can broaden the scope of explanations for aging.
