Open positions in 'Transcription specificity' team

We are looking for enthusiastic and talented students (PhD and Master level) and post-docs to join our team.
Our research focuses on understanding the fundamental molecular mechanisms of gene regulation, and in particular on aspects that confer cell-type and stimulus specificity to gene activation and repression. We use a combination of molecular and cell biology, together with cutting-edge genomic and bioinformatic approaches, to tackle major unanswered questions concerning gene regulation.
Current projects in the lab include:
- understanding the genomic targeting and activities of specific transcription factors;
- characterization of different classes of gene-regulatory elements throughout the genome;
- discovery of new cofactors that control gene activation and repression;
