Come and join our team!

We are looking for motivated students (both Master and PhD) and postdocs to join our lab!

Our laboratory has recently relocated from Lisbon to the beautiful city of Nice in the Côte d'Azur and we have plenty of opportunities to explore together.

We focus on two major projects that attempt to answer the following questions: 1- How does telomere shortening contribute to ageing? and 2- Why does cancer incidence increase with age (and if telomere shortening is responsible)? To answer these questions we use a vertebrate model system - the zebrafish - that shortens telomeres as they age, as humans do.

If you are interested in joining our group, please send a CV, your research interests and the name of two referees to Miguel Godinho Ferreira (Miguel-Godinho.FERREIRA at unice.fr)
